Event Description

Liesel James and Beau Horgan are facilitating a 2 day Organic vegetable gardening workshop for children between the ages of 5 - 13.

Time: 5 - 9 yr olds will be at 9:00 - 13:00
Time: 10 - 13yr olds will be at 14:00 - 18:00

A light vegetarian lunch/dinner will be served.

Program as follows:
Day 1:
Course include:
Design an organic mandala vegetable bed
Water harvesting techniques; mulch – reduce reuse, recycle
Garden games
Vegetarian lunch/early dinner served and beverages
Parents welcome / optional

Day 2:
Course include:
Planting Seedlings
Companion plants
Soil improvement
Organic fertilizers incl. worm farming
