10.10.10 Global Work Party www.350.org

Dear Friends,



Sunday 10.10.10 Little Green Fingers joined WESSA for the 350.org Global Work Party calling onto people everywhere to help reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.



Princess Vlei was named after a powerful Khoe Princess whose headquarters was on Constantiaberg in what is today called Elephant Eye cave. She was kidnapped in 1510 by sailors from the ship of Portuguese explorer Francesco d’Almeida.

Clean up the World Campaign - Out reach tree planting program in Ocean View Township

On 17 September 2009, Little Green Fingers and Daniel's yr 1 class from Imhoff Waldorf School in Kommetjie, Cape Town reached out to Ocean View's Marine Primary School and facilitated a tree planting day as part of the International Clean Up the World Campaign and Abor Month.
