Kleinberg Eco Warriors Planting Winter Crops

Creating Change facilitators had such fun with the kids reshaping and planting the next crops at Kleinberg Primary School in Ocean View. The kids were ecstatic to say the least. We allocated 5 planting beds to groups of 4 and 5.

This groups will look after their gardens for the next 6 months and as part of the Conscious Lifestyle Program will learn how to care for it in a natural way. At the end we will all enjoy making food from these healthy crops. Yum!.

With decades of farming experience, Marynna Bosazza facilitated this workshop and spoke about the importance of raised beds and mulching. 

 

We must conserve water everywhere and plant/sink water where ever possible.

 

The kids loved the work party and some enjoyed their soup afterwards next to their garden lot.
