I did this Vision Statement almost 5 years ago whilst living in Australia. I wanted to teach sustainability to disadvantage communities.My experience was managing small companies in the corporate sector and investigative journalism for Carte Blance and SABC.At that stage I was not formally trained as a Permacultrist or had any experience in working in communities. It was a dream .. It is amazing how everything has come through for me. I live naturally and have a Youth Development and Sustainability programme which I run in Ocean View to primary school children. I love my work and I am very grateful. I am now working on the next Vision Statement more specifically for our programme through Creating Change. I have to give thanks to my teacher, Malcolm Cohan who inspired me to do this Vision Statement in the first place so many years ago.
