Noordhoek Clean-Up 22 March Feedback
Dear Little Green Fingers,
Well done and thank you to everyone, children and parents for your great participation in our first clean up event. It was a great turn out and we have made such a difference all ready.
Spur is very proud to be part of Little Green Fingers campaigning for everyone to start taking green responsibility. We have lots more bags to fill sponsored by Waste Control.
A special thanks to NEAG, Camp Far Away and great friends, Carmen Lorraine Jennings - our great photographer, Darren from pushplay for our great logo design and Debbie a wonderful mom who helped with the banners, not to mention all the children in year 1 at Imhoff Waldorf for your beautiful posters all along the main road to our meeting place. It all controbute to this memorable day.
As for the Toad Nuts, they were fantastic! We all enjoyed their entertaining and informative puppet show.
70 children registered on the 22nd of March and I am not sure how many of you know that eTV was so impressed that kids are taking action about the environment, Tania Nefdt interviewed Tala and e News flighted 90 seconds of the clean up the following day. Thanks to Ryan from Coza Productions who filmed the event and dropped off a movie at ETV for Tania Nedft to view.
I am in the process of organising the next clean up day which will take place in Fishhoek next term and I will let you know soon.
If you know of any sponsors and event organisers (parents) who would like to get involved in the next one please let me know. We are also getting requests to help in areas out of False Bay.
