Connect the Dots is a project of 350.org and allies to clearly draw the connection between extreme weather and climate change. Climate Impacts Day on 5 May, 2012 will bring together hundreds of communities to highlight the dramatic climate change impacts we are already witnessing around the world.

Saturday, May 5, 10:00 AM Kommetjie Primary School Cape Town, Western Cape, 7975, South Africa One Person One Spekboom is a joint effort of three WESSA eco-schools assisted by the AfriOceans Warriors programme and the Creating Change Sustainability programme . It will run as an event at Kommetjie Primary School's Pop-up Shop fund raiser where used items and food will be on sale.

Potted Spekboom cuttings, made by local Eco-Schools: Kommetjie Primary, Marine Primary and Imhoff Waldorf School will be available to anybody willing to sign a Climate Pledge agreeing to plant and promote Spekboom as a hardy carbon-sequestering species.

Those wanting to help with preparing the cuttings can come to Kommetjie School on Friday 4 May at 13h00.
